The Singles 1992–2003 is a greatest hits album by American rock band No Doubt. It was released on November 14, 2003, by Interscope Records. It features 13 of the band's singles from three studio albums-Tragic Kingdom (1995), Return of Saturn (2000), and Rock Steady (2001)-and the single "Trapped in a Box" from their 1992 self-titled debut album. The album also included a cover of Talk Talk's 1984 song "It's My Life", the only new song on the album and which was released as a single.

The Singles 1992-2003. A band like No Doubt was made for an album like The Singles 1992-2003. While they made good albums - and each of their albums had its own character - they shined as a singles band, which is only appropriate for a band raised on new wave, the last golden era of singles. Unlike the grunge and indie bands that populated the first two waves of the alt-rock explosion of the early '90s, No Doubt wasn't directly inspired by punk, indie, or any underground rock movement; the band was fueled by new wave, in all of its trashy, poppy glory.

The Singles 1992-2003 is a compilation album by the American rock band No Doubt, produced by Nellee Hooper and released on November 25, 2003 on Interscope Records. It features thirteen of the band's singles from their later three studio albums - Tragic Kingdom, Return of Saturn, and Rock Steady - and the album track Trapped in a Box from their debut album, No Doubt. The album also included a cover of Talk Talk's song It's My Life, which was the only new song on the album and which was released as a single.

No Doubt – The Singles 1992-2003. Interscope) UK release date: 1 December 2003. by Sarah McDonnell first published: 1 Dec 2003 in Albums. Many of the album’s high points come from Gwen Stefani’s lyrics, which deal principally with coming to terms with her own femininity

Album · 2003 · 15 Songs. No Doubt churned out a steady stream of ear-snagging hits, collected on The Singles 1992-2003. Gwen Stefani’s blend of girly-girl coyness and tough-chick attitude are best appreciated on manic numbers like Excuse Me M. Ex-Girlfriend, and Hey Baby. The band’s combination of brawny guitar riffs and supple Jamaican rhythms defined them from their first single Trapped in a Box through later releases like Hella Good.
