Just got the Music on Vinyl from the excellent ...Let It roll-Record shop in Camden/ Kentish Town- London. The Guy in there is an absolute SP3 fanatic. Great pressing, translucent red....way better than my wibbly wobbly original Silvertone issue l.Never thought I would see the day. Number 390/1500. red hot !!
  • sunrise bird
There's also a new edition of this coming in August on usic on Vinyl.
  • Dianantrius
Coming out on MOV (music on vinyl) red vinyl and available to U.K./Europe fans without the massive import duties. Finally!
  • Ishnsius
Besides the Medical Records normal black resissue which should be out very soon as I type this (06.29.18) Music on Vinyl is also doing their own special edition release that is limited to 1500 copies on transparent red. https://www.musiconvinyl.com/catalog/spectrum/highs-lows-and-heavenly-blows#.WzZKvWeouUk

There's a new pressing of this reissue available on the label's Bandcamp page currently, go and grab a copy now if you couldn't get one the first time around!
  • MisTereO
Couldn't see it there did it get taken down? They're older sold out releases are still up?
  • Daigrel
my copy has a bit of pops/clicks, but nothing too bad. bought new at a shop on RSD and even then thought it was a bit pricey at $35. no info on the source so it may as well be mastered from CD, but still sounds decent. I would wait until there is a repress before paying over US $30 though.

FINALLY getting around toListening to mine I got directly from the label a week or so after RSD. The vinyl itself is not perfectly flat, but it’s absolutely quiet. I’m actually shocked it’s so quiet as I sit here watching it spin!
  • Ckelond
Silly prices on this release. I didn't pay much more than what these flippers are asking for an original copy on Silvertone. Wouldn't have minded a cheap reissue to play. Sounds like a decent pressing too. Won't pay more than £20 though...So I might have a long wait lol
  • Hucama
Even the BAND didn’t get a copy! Have been in contact with a member who has reached out to fans to get a copy for themselves! hurry up with a repress please, this is hugely in demand and copies have ended up all around the whole with the inevitable price hikes making this a poor situation for fans (and the bloody band!)
  • skyjettttt
Great news! Cheers guys! Waiting eagerly and patiently here in the U.K. for this.
  • Dibei
Sit tight, news coming soon! Won’t be long at all.
  • Rollers from Abdun
According to the label, they are working on a repress! Stay tuned! Hopefully soon!
  • skriper
Don't give in the flippers! We, the label are working on a repress soon! Stay tuned!
  • Mpapa
Hey, we strongly considered it but it wasn’t possible in our unique situation. Thanks for buying it!
  • Rleillin
price gouging idiots flipping it for 2-3 times the price. hate record store day....the worst scam around.
  • Lesesshe
I think this record is pretty special imho. It will all work out
  • Glei
Meh, it's annoying, but just ignore it. Record stores / artists make a bunch of money and nobody has to pay obscene prices if they don't want to. With a few exceptions, there's almost never anything special released on RSD anyhow.

Stellar sounding reissue! Great job on the remastering. Nice, rich, high definition tones with great clarity and dynamics. Unfortunately, my pressing quality sucks. Non fill noise on the lead in track on side A which disappears after 5 seconds into the song, not that big of a deal just kind of annoying. A lot of little clicks and pops throughout, again not too bad, just annoying at times. The worst though is that the pressing is off center and slightly warped. I can't take watching my tonearm sway around during play, unfortunately I'll have to return this and just chock it up to a loss. Cheers if you got a flawless copy tho! The music is enormously enjoyable.Edit/Update: I got a second copy that seems to be free of any of the defects stated above. Plays fine, flat, center, with no unwanted surface noise. Happy.
  • Malaris
Mrp which is owned by gz.My copy was warped but my vinyl flat took care of that. Does have some light surface noise after one cleaning
  • Gralsa
Just found one at my local shop! Not a lot of Spectrum fans in SC... Mine's warped too, but sounds incredible. I'm keeping it and hoping for a Soul Kiss reissue
  • Vosho
Mine has dish warp but is dead silent. I did clean it twice on a Clearaudio record cleaning machine before the first play, so that may have made the difference
  • Otiel
Yep, mine's slightly warped as well; outside of the sound, the pressing quality is a little disappointing really :(
  • invasion
Do you know what plant this was pressed at?
  • Kerry
Although i agree against the buy to flip mentality, with the original CD at £30 and LP at £125, how come it's only the scumbag resellers that are getting your hate?
  • Drelalak
Only 300 copies if the RSD site is to be believed. So 5% of the copies are on sale on discogs right now!
  • Fountain_tenderness
I just checked the label's Facebook page, and they say that 300 is misinfo. The correct number of copies pressed is 1000. So there should be plenty to go around - for normal prices.
  • Xinetan
I was thinking the exact same thing. After a lot of effort It took me to make sure I got at least one copy for myself and another RSD flipper?..... pfffftt..
  • Bolanim
Truly amazing pressing. Never parting with mine. Mwah hah hah
  • Windbearer
I have an extra copy. Willing to entertain interesting trades.
